With the surge of the automotive presence in American culture road trips

became a symbol of the United States.  Still most Americans take road trips as family

vacations, traveling the great American highways.  This installation is honoring that

symbol and also honoring Lasseter's family car and all the road trips he and his family

took in it.  The work allows for viewers to relate to what they interact with on a

personal level as they sit in the packed car and reminisce on their personal trips.
